I HAVE A ELVIS PRESLEY AUTOGRAPHED POSTER FROM A CONCERT IN BUFFALO NEW YORK ON JANUARY 21, 1956 FEATURING ELVIS AND THE JORDANAIRES. IS IT VALUABLE.???
Occupied Japan was from 1945 to 1952, and unless they are special character toys, robots, cars boats etc, tho collectible the price is modest. Larger figurines are more desirable than smaller ones.
I HAVE CERAMIC TEA SET ( TEA POT SUGAR AND CREAMER) THAT SAYS NIPPON ON IT. IT HAS HAND PAINTED IN CIRCLE WITH A CROWN IN IT. THERE ARE CABBAGE ROSES AND OTHER FLOWERS ON OUTSIDE ANY INFO WOULD BE NICE THANKS
Sandra
You would really need to let an appraiser see your tea set. Unfortunately the Nippon mark has been widely reproduced. There are probably 25 or more varitions of it that are fake. You can find an appraiser near you by going to our web site (www.isa-appraisers.org) and following the links for "Find an Appraiser".
Thanks for writing
