Queen Elizabeth Commemorative Tin

International Society of Appraisers Forum: Public Forum: Antique Related Questions: Queen Elizabeth Commemorative Tin
By Rita Hoppie on Thursday, June 20, 2002 - 12:54 pm:

I have a tin, I believe it's a cookie tin, with a picture of Queen Elizabeth on the outside and inscribed on the inside something to the effect that the tin was made to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's becoming Queen of England in 1953. It's from Scotland. I'm looking for an appraiser in the Vancouver British Columbia CANADA area who I might contact regarding this and other antique tins that I have. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Cookie tins are collected by a lot of people. The are looking for those with very colorful decoration and in near perfect condition.

In the left column here you will see the words Search For An Appraiser. Click there and in the location try you city....or provience...or maybe even Seattle. Each appraiser you find will have some information about their specialty or business which may help you to someone.

Good luck on your collecting
