On the back of the head of the girl doll K * R Simon & Halbig 117 n Germany Maus. the doll is 18" the clothing seems to be quite old but the hair is synthetic. The boy child doll is 18" g madein, germany II, JDK 1, 221. Someone has etched in the word Maus. I'd like some help in identifying these dolls as I tried an antique dealer and he knew nothing.

Dee,

In order to meet appraisal requirements a hands-on examination of your doll is necessary. To the left of your screen you should see a line that says "Search For An Appraiser." Please click on that and insert your city and state in the form. If you add that you need someone qualified in Antiques and Residential Contents you should receive a list of people in your area qualified to appraise your doll. Expect to pay a fee for this service. Thanks for asking for an ISA appraisal and good luck in your search!
