I just purchased a 8 piece place setting of Bohemia China. It says, Bohemia Made In Czechoslaovakia and has ORION underneath. Can anyone give me information on this set.

I looked at every mark in the "S" section in "Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers" by Rainwater -- no luck.

I have a picture of a antique copper teapot with an inscription on it and I wanted to find out who it is made by or how I can find out. Please send an email to me and I will send the jgp picture for review. Thanks Todd

I have a sterling teapot with what I think are ivory insulators on it. It has a delicate cherry blossom or some type of flower design and an finial on top. I can send a picture if needed. What I am really currious about are teh markings on the bottom. The bottom is marked sterling 804 1 3/4 PTS. It also has a bird or an eagle with wings that reach up in an open oval to surround a cursive type letter M. any ideas as to where I could find information on who made it and how old it might be?

It would help if you could post a very clear, close-up picture of the mark. There are about 1500 American marks...many of them used birds or eagles. I cannot place one with the letter "M" however. The "804" is the model or order number. The "1 3/4 PTS" of course is the size of the pot.

It really would help to see the mark!
