Can anyone help with finding out how much a Paul Marciel Souza Watercolor might be worth? I have three from the 1970s that are landscapes approximately 70cm X 50cm. They are in very good condition. Any of your expertise would be greatly appreciated.

Lucie Billings was a California artist who lived from 1906 to 1935. She painted mostly watercolors.

The 2006/2007 version of Davenport shows the following for this artist:

"Lucie Leone Billings: 1906-1935. Pasadena, CA $200-500. Hughes(2), Moure(1), Watercolorist, Printmaker."

Good luck, Monica

Joseawayan- I clicked onto your jpg.and see that you have already submitted this work to an appropriate museum. Certainly consulting with a museum curator experienced in handling Hobbema is your appropriate first step. Determination of authenticity, achieved through a combination of hands-on inspection, long familiarity with Old Masters drawings, and thorough scientific analysis, is of the utmost importance before it is possible to determine the value of a well-known artist such as Hobbema.

I never had a reply yet. It's been three months now. There are a dozen existing painting of the artist but there are only 10 known existing drawing of Hobbema.
