Hello, I have a canteen from WWII that was given to my uncle from a prisoner of war. On the canteen the following was etched in one the front Africa 1942
Tripoli Bengasi
Bardia Tobruk
Sollum Alamein
As well as 2 desert scenes.

On the bottom is W. L'Italia

On the back Per Ricardo Al SOldato
Harry Lundell
Chicago Illinois
POW CAP. MAGG.
Squillante Francis
Venezia

Complete with the original strap. The Harry Lundell that is etched in was my relative. I am certain this is a one of a kind but I am uncertain as to how or who to have appraise it. Anyone who can help please e-mail me at tinastafin@yahoo.com
